The Poetry and Thoughts of Jane Carol
JUST WAITING (In memory of SHARON ...)
Do you know I still think of you
Every day
I hear your laugh, I turn to speak when I
Hear your name.
I see these laughing eyes full of mischief and
Joy of life
I share your dreams. Your hopes, the goals you set
But couldn’t achieve
I imagine your family, your children, loving and teasing
As you did
Can they see the gaping hole you left
Never to return.
Did you realise how many people loved you, and would ache
To see you again.
So young, so full of life, so much to do
So little time.
Words will never say goodbye because you are never gone
Just sleeping.
Your spirit never died, it’s around us all the time
In our memories.
We loved you, we miss you but you are not lost
Just waiting….
In memory of SHARON ...
